New Mexico Land of Enchantment, Fine Art Paintography created by Barbara Chichester 2018. Image captured at White Sands National Monument between Alamogordo and Las Cruces New Mexico. Yucca plants are the most interesting to me in the winter time, their open dried pods are full of black seeds that are carried by the wind to take root in the desert ground and become and beautiful blooming desert flowering plants.
Turning the ordinary into the extraordinary, resulting in interesting contemplation and conversation, is my Art style.
As I become immersed in each piece of art I create, art takes on a life of it's own in the process. I love what I do and am happy and privileged to share it with you.
Additionally, I want to share with you that art is subjective, it is very personal... there are no rights and wrongs to it, it is a simply matter of preference, taste and personal interests. I hope you will enjoy my style of art as it is meant to cause contemplation, interesting conversation and hopefully provide you with pleasure in viewing it.
