Pelican Portrait In Blue, Fine Art Paintography by Barbara Chichester. This young pelican, a baby still was curious and very content to observe my interest in taking it's photograph. I combined digital painting with this image to render the results which I refer to as Paintography.

All of my work is original. My intention is to cause interesting conversation or contemplation in viewing my artwork. I am a Paintographer...My passion is capturing a moment, and then creating the mood of that moment to share. My "signature artstyle" is creating the extraordinary from the ordinary in paintography, whether it be from my own art or a combination of my photography and art.
