Primping At Twilight, Fine Art Photography by Barbara Chichester 2016. This image was captured at Twilight, the reflection of the clouds in the water in their muted pink and blue hues as the backdrop took my breath away. I saw this dreamy wild bird elegantly preening and primping prior to returning to the rookery to spend the evening with all the other wild birds in this particular area on the Florida west coast. Captured in the Sorrento Bird Sanctuary adjacent to Oscar Shere Park in Nokomis Florida.

All of my work is original. My intention is to cause interesting conversation or contemplation in viewing my artwork. I am a Paintographer...My passion is capturing a moment, and then creating the mood of that moment to share. My "signature artstyle" is creating the extraordinary from the ordinary in paintography, whether it be from my own art or a combination of my photography and art.
