Three Rivers Petroglyphs, Fine Digital Art Paintography created by Barbara Chichester. Art of the ancient Joranado Mogollon people, cousins to the Anasazi Indians who inhabited the Three Rivers Creek area hundreds of years ago, left their mark thousands of times on boulders and rocks in this area of New Mexico. Their drawings and art told their stories of their life there. It is a magical experience to view their etchings and carvings in the rock, it inspired this rendition depicting one of the etchings of a Big Horn Sheep, with arrows embedded in it's side.

Turning the ordinary into the extraordinary, resulting in interesting contemplation and conversation, is my Art style.

As I become immersed in each piece of art I create, art takes on a life of it's own in the process. I love what I do and am happy and privileged to share it with you.

Additionally, I want to share with you that art is subjective, it is very personal... there are no rights and wrongs to it, it is a simply matter of preference, taste and personal interests. I hope you will enjoy my style of art as it is meant to cause contemplation, interesting conversation and hopefully provide you with pleasure in viewing it.
