'Ghost Town Conoco', Fine Art Paintography ©Barbara Chichester 2021. Lake Valley New Mexico, founded in the late1800's with the discovery of silver. A fire destroyed Main Street in 1895. This is a true Ghost Town with no inhabitants, the townsite includes a 1920s chapel, several old homes, a school house and cemetary.Turning the ordinary into the extraordinary, resulting in interesting contemplation and conversation, is my Art style.
As I become immersed in each piece of art I create, art takes on a life of it's own in the process. I love what I do and am happy and privileged to share it with you.
Additionally, I want to share with you that art is subjective, it is very personal... there are no rights and wrongs to it, it is a simply matter of preference, taste and personal interests. I hope you will enjoy my style of art as it is meant to cause contemplation, interesting conversation and hopefully provide you with pleasure in viewing it.
