Description
Winter's Day Desert Yucca created by Barbara Chichester. A combination of my photography with digital painting and enhancement, presented in the exquisite jewel tone colors of the southwestern sky, desert sand and vegetation. The New Mexico State flower is the Yucca bloom. The Yucca has many edible parts and also it's roots are known to make soap and shampoo. Yucca consists of up to 50 shrubs and tree types, found mostly in the arid desert southwest.
Turning the ordinary into the extraordinary, resulting in interesting contemplation and conversation, is my Art style.
As I become immersed in each piece of art I create, art takes on a life of it's own in the process. I love what I do and am happy and privileged to share it with you.
Additionally, I want to share with you that art is subjective, it is very personal... there are no rights and wrongs to it, it is a simply matter of preference, taste and personal interests. I hope you will enjoy my style of art as it is meant to cause contemplation, interesting conversation and hopefully provide you with pleasure in viewing it.
My Photographic Art, ink, watercolor and unique Paintographs sell internationally and on this site, you will find an extensive collection to view. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me, I appreciate that very much...
