Land of Enchantment New Mexico, watercolor in vibrant southwest colors of the New Mexico Zia symbol. The symbol originated with the Indians of Zia Pueblo in ancient times. It's design reflects their tribal philosophy, with its wealth of pantheistic spiritualism teaching the basic harmony of all things in the universe. Art created by New Mexico Artist, Barbara Chichester.
Turning the ordinary into the extraordinary, resulting in interesting contemplation and conversation, is my Art style.
As I become immersed in each piece of art I create, art takes on a life of it's own in the process. I love what I do and am happy and privileged to share it with you.
Additionally, I want to share with you that art is subjective, it is very personal... there are no rights and wrongs to it, it is a simply matter of preference, taste and personal interests.
