"La Historia de Josephina" Fine Art Photography by Barbara Chichester, translates to the story of Josephina. Historical property in the old Mesilla area of southern New Mexico. Josephina lived in the home for nearly 35 years and established the Luminaria Tradition of Mesilla. Dating back to the early 1900s this home has served as a place to gather, socialize, and celebrate. Today Josephina's is a quaint Bed & Breakfast / Restaurant, still allowing the locals and visitors to socialize and celebrate in New Mexican tradition.
